This Ussher and Kemp Federation heritage home, is in one of the most distinguished and desirable leafy lined streets of Camberwell. In close collaboration with Roger McAleer Architects and Ocean Blue Builders this double story home was transformed. A full renovation including landscaping, pool, furniture, art procurement and interior project management transformed this heritage home. Our client’s love of contemporary design with Japanese influence and a family with deep sailing ties established our brief. Thoughtful consideration to existing architectural details allowed a harmonious blend of heritage and modern. Using textural carpets, tiles, wallpaper and blackbutt timbers we formed a background to encase naturally toned furniture and walls adorned with bright artworks form Australian contemporary artists.
